2ND BALA SUMMIT WILL INDICATE BUSINESS AVIATION OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES IN LATIN AMERICA
Next August 13, during Labace 2010, the world’s second largest business aviation event, São Paulo will host the 2nd BALA Summit (Business Aviation in Latin America). With the theme “A vision for the future”, the event’s proposal is to discuss business aviation as a tool for progress of the country and for social inclusion, to look at the newest technologies from the viewpoint of safety and environmental protection, as well as returning to the discussion of air traffic security demands for business aviation. The speakers and participants will also debate opportunities and challenges for business aviation in Latin America.
The event is aimed towards business aircraft operators, manufacturers, consultants, bank representatives, airport executives and all professionals interested in business aviation opportunities in Latin America.
The 2nd BALA Summit will be opened by Francisco Lyra, president of ABAG (Brazilian General Aviation Association), and scheduled experts include Respício A. Espírito Santo Jr., president of Instituto Cepta; Alex Major, executive director of Green Flight Foundation, and others.
Other important names that will participate in the event are Kirsten Bartok, da AirFinance Capital / Air Finance Leasing; Eno Siewerdt, of Air Traffic Management; Cássio Grasselli, da Embraer; Julio Sosa, da Avinode; Julio Costa, of Beaumont & Son Aviation; and Brazilian Air Force General Luiz Cláudio Ribeiro da Silva, of DECEA (Department of Air Space Control), among others.
The complete programming can be found on Labace’s website www.labace,com.br, where the signup form is also found. Inscription costs US$ 250 (including admission to Labace), but those who sign up by August 2 pay only US$ 190. The event will take place from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
